• v8.0: New feature allowing the loading of one or two stored spectrum files for side-by-side comparison with real-time data.

A unique feature is the exclusive ISO 1/3 Octave Calibration which adjusts for microphone response inaccuracies. This calibration process allows users to achieve a flat response and synchronize SPL readings with external meters while supporting popular microphones such as the Dayton Audio iMM-6 and MicW i436.

The application incorporates advanced functionalities such as real-time SPL calculations using FFTs from microphone samples while reducing aliasing through Hann windowing techniques. Users can easily store live spectra for later reference and access through intuitive interface features.

The loudspeaker polarity checker assists in verifying speaker wiring integrity. The Noise Criteria function overlays NC contours on the RTA display while displaying current NC values in real-time. Furthermore, RT60 measurements can be conveniently conducted using either a loud clap or pink noise generated by AudioTool.

The signal generator provides versatile outputs including White and Pink Noise as well as various waveforms with an accuracy of about 1%. While sine wave fidelity remains high across most frequencies, some characteristics may vary based on device quality.
